Sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery to leave everyday life behind. That’s exactly what we’re here for.
As a family-run hotel in Ueckermünde, we combine history with genuine hospitality –
personal and with short lines of communication.
Located right on the historic market square, our hotel offers 45 rooms and 84 beds in various categories.
Our comfort rooms have been newly furnished and offer modern comfort – the interior and decoration are carefully selected and shape the overall style of the house.
Part of our hotel is also the Stadtkrug brewery, where we brew our own beer.
The offer is complemented by our restaurant with a market terrace, a maritime bar, as well as a sauna and a conference room.
We continuously develop our hotel and modernize it step by step.
For longer stays or family holidays, we offer eight modernized holiday apartments in Haus Seebad Ueckermünde – also located directly on the market square and fully renovated and newly furnished since 2022.
The first record of a building at Marktplatz 3 dates back to 1786. Since then, the building has seen many owners and developments.
In 1996, the Drücker and Zeck families took over the properties at Markt 3 and 4 and set new standards for the future of the house with extensive renovations.
In particular, the former operator Horst Drücker invested a great deal of dedication and capital to renovate the buildings and prepare them for the future.
The former Hotel Stadtkrug developed into today’s Hotel Am Markt & Brauhaus Stadtkrug.
In 2005, the brewery was opened, where we brew our own beer. Today, the different beer varieties – including lager, dark beer, wheat beer and seasonal specialties such as raspberry or smoked beer – are an integral part of our house.
Following the passing of Horst Drücker in 2018 and his wife Helga in 2022, the hotel is now run by their daughter Tina Zeck and her husband Simon, together with the established team.
Hotel director Michael Brückner and his deputy, as well as restaurant manager Rico Albrecht, ensure that the tradition of the house is maintained and that guests are well taken care of.
We work with flat hierarchies that encourage a high level of personal responsibility and respectful communication. Our aim is to consistently maintain and further develop the quality of our services. Sustainability plays an important role, and we continuously work to reduce our ecological footprint.
Currently, 22 employees work at our hotel, including professionals in management, reception, service, kitchen, housekeeping and administration.
We are particularly proud of our long-standing employees, some of whom have been part of our team for over 15 years.
This also includes hotel director Michael Brückner (30 years) and restaurant manager Rico Albrecht (25 years), who have been part of our house for many years.
Our trainees – including chefs, hospitality specialists and hotel management trainees – are also an important part of our house and receive hands-on training.
