Here you will find a stylish combination of history and modernity. 45 rooms, from single and double rooms basic to comfort, suite and wedding rooms can be found in our house as well as the brewery Stadtkrug, where we brew our delicious Stadtkrug-Bräu, our restaurant with a large market terrace and the maritime bar, a sauna and our conference room.

The seaside resort of Ueckermünde, a state-approved health resort and Germany's easternmost port town, is rich in attractions, sights and leisure activities.

Every Tuesday from June to September our music summer takes place on the market square - live music - good atmosphere - great music(s) - fun in the evening ...

Our employees
Today we have 23 employees working in the areas of management, reception, service, kitchen, floor, accounting and caretaking.

We currently have 3 trainees (one cook and two hotel managers) in their second year of training and three trainees (one hotel manager and two hospitality specialists) in their first year.

Most of our employees have been with us for many years (4 employees alone between 15 and almost thirty years!) - some even since their apprenticeship. We have a great team with whom we always welcome you as our guest.

Our brief history - briefly told:

The oldest documented entry for Markt 3 dates back to 1786, and over the years many new owners have been added. In 1996, the Drücker/Zeck families from Alfeld an der Leine acquired the Markt 3 and Markt 4 properties - a lot has happened since then - renovated, remodelled - everything has been developed for a great guest experience.

The then operator Horst Drücker renovated both buildings with a lot of heart and a great deal of investment. The Hotel Stadtkrug became today's Hotel Am Markt. In 2005, a small brewery was added in the existing rooms with the name Stadtkrug (we couldn't quite forget the name now) - you wouldn't believe it, but in 2025 our Stadtkrug will be 20 years old and we will celebrate - with you, with you and everyone who wants to be there!

In 2005, the Hotel Am Markt became today's HOTEL AM MARKT & BRAUHAUS STADTKRUG.

Since then, a lot has been brewed and our brewery menu promises rustic flavours with home-brewed beer - the flavours are light, dark, wheat and our seasonal beers raspberry or smoked beer. These can be tested during a beer tasting and you are sure to find your favourite. 

Horst Drücker passed away in 2018 and his wife Helga continued to run the hotel and brewery with the support of her daughter Tina and her husband Simon Zeck until the beginning of 2022.

Since February 2022, after Helga Drücker also passed away, Tina and Simon Zeck have continued to run the HOTEL AM MARKT BRAUHAUS STADTKRUG in the spirit of the family and with a proven team of employees around hotel manager Michael Brückner and his deputy and restaurant manager Rico Albrecht.

Our employees are happy about every guest who comes to stay with us - whether business travelers, weekend or short breaks, “old” acquaintances who come back every year to relax with us and everyone else - everyone is welcome!
